Whanau Afternoon

Kia ora te reo Maori.

Long live the language.

Today the school held a whanau afternoon which involved the older students planning a session for a mixed age group from across the school, for Maori Language week. Activities included scavenger hunts, icing biscuits, making rakau sticks and learning some moves, number activities, colour activities and more. The older children interacted well with the younger members in the group and everyone enjoyed their afternoon.
