About Us

We are 70 year 1 and 2 children from Halswell School in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Our studio is in the Huritini (Who – rree – tee – knee) Learning Centre.

Huritini is the original name of parts of the Halswell River. It means "many turns".

The Huritini Learning Centre is in two parts Whio (blue duck) and
Ti  Kouka (cabbage tree).

We are in the Ti Kouka studio but sometimes we work in the Whio studio.
The teachers in our Learning Centre are:
Ti Kouka
T13 Mrs Pareanga
T14 Mrs O'Callaghan and Mrs O'Neill
T15 Mrs Townsend

Whio
T10 Mrs Norma
T11 Miss Dixon
T12 Mrs Pettersson
