In T14 to celebrate Matariki, we have been reading lots of different Maori myths and legends.
During writing, we retold our own version of Maui and the Sun. Some of the children worked really hard to publish their version using Book Creator on the iPad.
Welcome to our studio blog. We are 70 Year 1 and 2 ACTIVE Halswell kids who enjoy sharing our learning. We hope you enjoy our posts and we would love you to leave a comment.

How would you know if one of these plastic cups was half full?

Ti Kouka Assembly
Have You Filled A Bucket Today?
We all carry around an invisible bucket. You feel happy when your bucket is full. You feel sad when your bucket is empty. You can fill other people's buckets by doing or saying nice things for them. When you fill another person's bucket you also fill your own bucket!!!
In Ti Kouka we have been thinking about ways we can fill each other's buckets.
