| All of a sudden a warm bright light flooded the land and the people of the earth saw Te Ra the sun for the first time. Scene 2 Matariki Stars Every year the stars of Matariki, travel across the sky to visit Papatuanuku their kuia. As they travel through the sky each star helps Papa to get ready for the next year. They use their unique gifts to bring joy to the world. They also learn skills and knowledge which they treasure and pass on to others. |
